They invest heavily, both financially, emotionally, and mentally, to study and build a future here. They arrive with education, skills, and motivation. Yet too often, they’re seen only as a fit for low-paid jobs, or as risks, not resources.

Even universities that actively recruit international students often fall short in creating real pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, or long-term integration after graduation.

The result? People fall through the cracks. They feel invisible, and not because they lack ability, but because the system doesn’t expect them to succeed here.

At What the Finland, we choose a different path. Through our WENI platform – We Network International – we are co-creating a community where immigrants are recognized as capable, creative, and full of potential.
