Well, folks, I\u2019m officially 3 meetings deep into the IE-Experts Project, and wow, what a ride
it\u2019s been so far! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We kicked things off with an exercise where we answered some deep questions like, \u201cHow
satisfied are you with your life right now?\u201d I mean, who doesn\u2019t love a good soul searching
moment, right? I ended up realizing that satisfaction is kind of like trying to find the
perfect pair of socks, sometimes it\u2019s just not there until you put in the effort!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then came the storytelling part. Oh boy, if I had a dollar for every time I thought I knew how
to tell a story, I\u2019d have a nice little fund to hire someone to tell my stories for me! We
learned about all the different ways to tell stories, and I\u2019ll admit, I was like, \u201cWait, that\u2019s
how you tell a story?\u201d Mind-blowing stuff! It made me realize that hearing someone\u2019s
story isn\u2019t just about the plot, it\u2019s about feeling it. Sometimes, the way they tell it sticks with
you longer than the actual words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fast forward to today’s 3rd meeting, and we had the amazing Sini Kirvesm\u00e4ki join
us. Not only is she an educated xxpert by experience, but she also
shared her own recovery story. Her insights on how to be authentic when sharing stories
really hit home. And a key takeaway? It\u2019s okay to say \u201cNO\u201d if you\u2019re not comfortable sharing
something. Sometimes, boundaries are just as important as the story itself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
