Tietoa meistä
What The Finland Association promotes integration, wellbeing, and meaningful connections between individuals and communities. Our mission is to help build a more inclusive and supportive society by encouraging dialogue, cooperation, and active participation for both immigrants and local residents—children, youth, and adults.
We place strong emphasis on youth, particularly in the areas of engagement in NGOs, resilience, employment, and empowerment. Special attention is given to young people with migrant backgrounds, ensuring they are supported in navigating opportunities, developing skills, and strengthening their sense of belonging.
We provide guidance, peer support, and opportunities to engage in community life through a wide range of events and activities. These include group meetings, courses, workshops, job coaching, entrepreneurship support, informational events, lectures, celebrations, and other initiatives that strengthen inclusion, personal development, and social participation.
In addition to events, we plan and run projects that focus on integration, wellbeing, employment, entrepreneurship, volunteering, youth participation, resilience and community engagement. These projects are supported by local, national, and international fundings.
What The Finland works in collaboration with a broad network of partners across Finland and Europe, including NGOs, companies, public institutions, and authorities. Together, we aim to expand opportunities, break down barriers, and support people – especially young people with diverse backgrounds – in building a meaningful life in Finland.
