What The Finland is dedicated supporting the holistic wellbeing of individuals who are unemployed, face challenges in entering the workforce, or are experiencing burnout. We believe that addressing wellbeing from multiple angles – emotional, social, and practical – is crucial for sustainable empowerment and resilience.
During the project implementation we are organizing:
- Wellbeing workshops that strengthen coping skills, resilience, and personal growth
- Peer support and lived-experience mentoring, where participants can share experiences, exchange insights, and learn from one another in a safe and supportive environment
- IE Experts – immigrant-background lived-experience mentors training who actively share their own experiences to guide and inspire others, highlighting pathways through challenges and promoting empowerment
- Group coaching sessions that foster confidence, practical strategies, and collective learning
All spring 2026 peer groups and other wellbeing activities are available to view on Lähellä.fi.
This holistic approach ensures that participants receive comprehensive support, not only in building skills for employment but also in strengthening emotional resilience and social connections. The activities are designed to share knowledge and support through peer experiences, emphasizing the transformative power of community.
The initiative is supported by the Ostrobothnia Wellbeing County, ensuring that the activities contribute to sustainable community impact.
