The project Integration and Experience Expert – Companion to Successful Employment of Immigrants was developed under the Nordplus Adult Programme in 2023-2024. Project Number: NPAD-2023/10009. Participating countries were Finland, Lithuania and Sweden.

The project addressed issues concerning both immigrants and service providers and promoted the acquisition of experience-based knowledge, which is essential for developing services, changing attitudes, and fostering an understanding of the challenges people encounter throughout their lifespans. The project’s aim was to train international individuals residing in project countries who already possessed some background in integration and experience, enabling them to become highly professional Integration and Employment Experience Experts.

Throughout the project, a methodology and course was be developed and piloted. The course structure was based on the holictic Integration-Employment-Wellbeing framework and was tailored to individuals with their unique immigrant experiences. Blended course materials were developed and tested in the partner countries. Additionally, the project established an international virtual community of Integration and Employment Experience Experts, connecting experts from the participating countries to share their experiences and expertise.
