During this interactive session, we will:
✔️ Review key project results
✔️ Validate policy recommendations
✔️ Work together on the next steps for improving labour market integration and career pathways for migrants
Career Compass is a Nordic-Baltic initiative exploring structural barriers faced by young migrants in education and employment and developing evidence-based recommendations for more inclusive and effective policies. The Career Compass project, which conducted research in Finland, Lithuania, and Denmark, shows that despite strong motivation to build their futures, many young migrants encounter structural barriers such as language requirements and limited access to information. Demanding working conditions can further limit opportunities to pursue education and career development, leaving many in low-skilled roles with restricted long-term prospects.
